My name is Ilan Lerman. I live in Edinburgh with my girlfriend, Alexis and my cat, Boris. I am a writer of short stories (most of which can be read in the bibliography), and aspiring novelist.
Writing has been a part of my life since teenage years when I produced half of a terrible comedy SF novel on an old Olivetti typewriter at the age of 17. In March 2008 I began writing in earnest, with short stories being my main focus and with the intention of submitting as many as possible, and hopefully making a life out of it.
Most of my work so far has been short fiction in the Dark/Weird/Speculative fiction genre, and I am currently undertaking research for a novel. Which will be my fifth attempt, after three unfinished and one completed but terrible first draft.
